Series JMGP compact guided actuators are double acting, compact and lightweight. The JMGP is suitable for pushing, lifting or clamping applications.
MGP, Standard
Guided Cylinder
Series MGP is designed for high side load applications found in material handling, lifting and stopping. The cylinder utilizes an ultra-compact design by incorporating the cylinder body as part of the guide body. As the stroke length increases, so does the bearing length, thus enhancing the cylinder's load bearing capacity. Order made options for this series include adjustable air cushions, heavy duty guide rods, copper free, high temperature, and low speed.
CNA2, Cylinder
w/Lock
The CNA2 series cylinder with lock is suitable for mid-stroke stops, emergency stops, and drop prevention. An equal holding force in extending and retracting directions make it possible to lock at either end of the stroke. High reliability and stable holding force are maintained by using a substantially lengthened brake shoe with superior wear resistance. The locking mechanism is isolated from lock release air, so lock function is not diminished by excessive dirt or drain in compressed air.

Bore Cylinder
The CNS series cylinder with lock is ideal for applications requiring intermediate and emergency stop and drop prevention. The compact lock unit saves space and the enclosed construction and separation of the lock mechanism and the unlocking piston chamber minimizes the influences of poor air quality.

Bore Cylinder
The CLS series cylinder with lock is ideal for applications requiring intermediate and emergency stop and drop prevention. The compact lock unit is lightweight and saves space. A switch is optional on the brake cylinder so the operating state of the lock unit (brake piston) can be detected using the switch signal. By separating the lock mechanism and the brake cylinder, SMC has minimized the influences of unlocking air quality such as moisture and condensation.

Cylinder with Lock
Compact cylinder series CLQ offers drop prevention when the pressure of air source is decreased or the residual pressure is released. The CLQ has a low profile design, with a compact lock unit. Available in 8 bore sizes ranging from 20 to 100mm, and is auto switch capable.
RLQ, Compact Cylinder
with Air Cushion and Lock
Series RLQ was developed to provide the safety of drop prevention, at any point of the stroke, should the air supply be cut off. The RLQ benefits from additional features such as its own built in air cushion and lock unit, standardized bypass piping and home position holding function. The new series RLQ is the perfect solution for applications which require larger kinetic energy, high stroke repeatability and decreased sound levels. Series RLQ, is currently available in bore sizes of 32, 40, 50 and 63mm, with standard stroke options of between 20 – 100mm, series.
MLU, Plate Cylinder
with Lock
Plate cylinder with lock series MLU is ideal for maintaining supply pressure to prevent dropping of the load when residual pressure is released. Drop prevention is possible at any point of stroke. Lock positions can be changed to accommodate the position of the external stopper and the thickness of the clamped work piece.
MLGP-B/F, Standard Guided
Cylinder with One-way Lock
The MLGP-B/F is a compact body, locking actuator integrated with internal guide shafts to isolate the load bearing from the movement of the actuator's rod and seals. The locking mechanism can be specified for either the extension side (F) or the retraction side (B) of the stroke. The brake spring, locking mechanism will engage when air pressure is lost for drop prevention applications and can be released by reintroducing air pressure or via a manual process. The (L) high precision ball bushing allows for smooth operation that ensures stable travel resistance, suitable for pushing and lifting applications. The (M) carbon steel alloy slide bearing provides lateral stability protecting it from side load impacts, suitable for stopping applications.
MY1*W, Rodless Cylinder, Mechanically

The MY1W Rodless Cylinders have a one-piece carriage and piston that runs its entire stroke length housed with an inner seal belt to maintain air pressure combined with an outer dust cover for dustproofing and water resistance. A side seal option is available for added protection in harsher environments. This design offers a compact footprint compared to rod-style cylinders and features a low profile. It is available in either an integrated slide bearing guide for lateral stability providing to protect from side load impacts or an integrated cam follower guide to provide smooth and precise slide table movement. Air cushions are standard and external shock absorbers are optional.
RHC, High
Power Cylinder
High speed or high load cylinder applications frequently require additional speed and flow control devices to control the stopping of the load. SMC's RHC series features a longer cushion design which is capable of stopping heavy or high speed loads while maintaining the simplicity of a standard air cushion cylinder. This enhanced cushion allows the kinetic distance, which results in the ability to absorb up to 23.8 ft-lb of energy and operate reliably at speeds up to 118 in/sec. Even with the improved performance of the RHC, cushion adjustment remains as simple as adjusting the cushion needle valve.
MK-Z Swing
Clamp Cylinder
SMC's MK-Z has an allowable moment of inertia 3 times higher than the conventional MK and MK2 styles. The overall length is the same as the conventional styles, and mounting dimensions are interchangeable with the MK series. Auto switches can be mounted on any of the 4 surfaces with no projection of the switch.

Vacuum Generators
The ZK2*A series is an energy-saving generator with 93% reduced air consumption. It has a 50% increase in suction flow compared to other single stage SMC generators. The ZK2*A also has various mounting options to choose from.
ZH, Vacuum Generator,
Body Ported
Vacuum Generator series ZH offers a compact and light weight point-of-use generator with standard flow and large flow capability. There are two types available: box type with a silencer exhaust and body ported type with individual exhaust. Also, these generators are often smaller and lighter than the bulky vacuum lines used in central vacuum systems. Available in various nozzle diameters and a number of port sizes.
Suction
Cups
The ZPT series suction cups are available in diameters from 2 to 125mm, 6-cup materials, and 4-cup designs (flat, flat with ribs, deep and bellows), to suit multiple applications. Vertical vacuum entry connections can be made via one-touch fittings or threaded connections. Optional buffers can be ordered with up to 50mm stroke. SMC's ZP2 series vacuum pads are available in diameters from 2 to 340mm, and offer a variety of pad materials and designs. The ZP2 series was designed to standardize special products designed for the ZP series. Pad types include: miniature cups, compact cups, nozzle cups, multi-bellows cups, sponge cups, mark-free cups, oval cup variations, and heavy-duty cup variations. Optional buffers can be ordered with up to 100mm stroke. The ZP3 line of suction cups has a compact pad and the buffer body has been shortened by as much as 2.2" when compared to the ZP series. The optional buffer can be ordered with up to 20mm stroke.

An LEL slider type electric actuator features a load mounting carriage that travels on guide rails. The parallel belt drive and horizontally mounted motor offer a surface height lower than comparable LEF models. The belt drive offers higher speeds than a ball screw drive, while the construction offers the lowest cost.

Slider, Step Motor (Servo/24 VDC)
The LEM electric actuator family features the lowest table height of all sliders, 40mm or less. Four series are available, including basic, cam follower guide, and single or double axis linear guides. Belt drives permit longer strokes and higher speeds than ball screw sliders. Guided types permit higher workloads than the LEFB or LEL.

The LEY rod type electric actuator has a familiar rod cylinder form suitable for push, pull, lift and press applications. The 24VDC motor can be reverse mounted for compact length, or inline mounted for compact height. The LEY series offers a wide variety of actuator mounting options as well, including numerous direct and bracket styles.

Guide Rod Type
The LEYG guided rod electric actuator pairs an LEY actuator with a bolt-on bearing block with double guide rods. The guide rods counter rotational forces instead of the drive and motor, and also resist shock and sustained lateral loads. Guide blocks can be fitted with either slide or ball bushing bearings.
LES, Electric
Slide Table
LES and LESH integrate a work table, linear guide and a motor driven linear ball screw. The work table offers top and front load mounting surfaces. Underneath, the linear guide maintains positional accuracy and supports moment loading.
LEPS, Electric Slide Table,
Miniature Type
The LEPS electric actuator fits a linear guide and work table to the LEPY miniature rod model. The result is an actuator with parallel and perpendicular work surfaces, able to resist offset moment loads and rotational forces. The series includes two body sizes with inline mounted motors. Maximum stroke is 75mm, and maximum work load is 2 kg, or 50N pushing force depending on the application.

The LER rotary electric actuator series features a rotating worktable positioned above an enclosure for the motor and drive train. Three different motor/table sizes for this rotary electric actuator are available, with each size offering a basic and high torque variation. Additionally, each size offers four rotating angle options, including 90°, 180°, 310 / 320°, and continuously rotating.
LEH, Electric
Grippers
The LEH family of electric grippers includes three series fitted with two fingers. Series include the LEHZ standard, the LEHZJ with IP50 dust cover, and the LEHF with low profile fingers and long stroke options. Benefits include adjustable gripping forces, a drop prevention function, and gauging capability for recognizing different dimensions and outputting length measurements.
LEY-X5, Electric Actuator, Rod Type, Dust/Drip
Proof (Step Motor: Servo 24VDC; Servo Motor: 24VDC)
The X5 option, available for the LEY series in sizes 25 and 32, is a dust and drip proof specification equivalent to IP65. For DC motor models, the spec is achieved by enclosing the motor in a sealed aluminum cover with a special cable connector, and pairing the rod with a scraper and lub-retainer. Additionally, the body extrusion includes a vent hole and fitting to balance internal pressure so that dust and water are not drawn in.

CH2 double acting hydraulic cylinders conform to JIS B 8367 specifications. Surge pressure generated when running into the cushion has been reduced by 30% or more compared to the CH series, due to the CH2's cushion seal system. Separate construction of the rod cover simplifies maintenance. Available in bore sizes 32mm to 100mm. All series types are available with auto switch capability with the exception of the steel tube type.
