The new AFF70~90D improves upon the performance of the classic AFF with a 1µ particulate rating and increased water removal capabilities. Additionally, flow capacities are improved over the current models. Installation space is saved by integrating the traditional AFF filtering function with the water removal of the AMG. A lightweight stainless bowl assembly saves improves handling and simplifies service.

IP8000 E/P positioner is more compact than the IP6000 with improved visibility of the pressure indicator. Other features include an improved enclosure protection IP65, interchangeable mounting, excellent shock and vibration performance, and a 1/2 split range available by simple span adjustment. The IP200 cylinder positioner provides accurate and stable positioning of air cylinders. The compact design allows easy installation and maintenance. A span adjuster and zero adjuster are provided for the adjustment of the feed back spring.

The element-less specification eliminates the need for replacement. Air containing water droplets is rotated to remove them by centrifugal force.

SMC has improved product performance and reliability with the redesigned SY series valve. The SY3000 and SY5000 have the same valve width as their predecessors, but the flow has been increased by up to 80%, allowing the valve size to be reduced. A built-in strainer in the pilot valve prevents trouble caused by foreign matter. By using H-NBR seal material for the main valve and seals, Ozone resistance has been improved. Side, top and bottom port/pipe directions are available to allow flexible installation. The SY is available in body ported or base mounted styles, and can be used individually or manifold mounted.

The VX2 series is 2 port direct solenoid valve for general purpose air, medium vacuum and water. Available body materials include resin, aluminum, brass or stainless steel with port size up to 1/2 inch. Resin body is offered with one touch fitting to reduce installation time. It is also available as a manifold to reduce piping.

VFN212N is a 3 port solenoid valve compliant with NAMUR interface. It can be directly installed on valve actuators that comply with NAMUR.

This is the standard non-hygienic version of the VFN2000N.

AP Tech also services many other industries delivering specialty and bulk gases for a wide variety of applications.

The VHS series provides a convenient means of isolating supplied pressure in a pneumatic system and exhausting downstream pressure for maintenance purposes. The units can be locked in the exhaust position and can be an integral part of an energy isolation system. Air flow direction is easily identified by handle orientation and labeling. They can be used alone or can be conveniently connected to an FRL assembly using modular spacers.

Series AR-B regulators from SMC have been updated to the new urban white base color for a clean modern look. The AR-B series has a maximum set pressure of 125 psi and offers embedded gauge and pressure switch options not found in the AR-A while maintaining panel mounting interchangeability with the previous AR models. The locking adjustment knob prevents accidental setting changes. Options include a mounting bracket and set nuts for panel mounting. The modular design of the AR-B series connects with other SMC air preparation equipment of similar size. The new AR-B is available in six body sizes with piping from 1/8" to 1" in Rc, NPT and G.

Series AMD can separate and remove aerosol state oil mist in compressed air and remove carbon or dust of more than 0.01µ. It should be used as prefilter for compressed air in precision instruments or for clean room requirements.

The classic AFF series is an excellent first stage in an air purification scheme. This coarse (3µ) filter removes foreign matter and droplets to protect down stream dryers and extend the life of more precise filters. Units are easily serviced, and diry elements can be disposed of while handling only the filter bowl.

The EX600 serial interface offers a full suite of diagnostics and programmable parameters to meet the most stringent requirements. The EX600 offers excellent flexibility including digital input, digital output and analog input unit options. With the use of D-sub output blocks, a maximum of 9 remote D-sub manifolds can be attached to one EX600 communication module. This serial interface is compatible with series SV1000/2000/3000, VQC1000/2000/4000, S0700 and the new SY series valves. EX260 series is a compact and cost effective fieldbus solution for output applicable to SMC's most popular directional control valves such as New SY, SV, VQC, and S0700 Series. It can control up to 32 solenoids in one manifold. Available protocols are EtherNet/IP™, PROFINET®, EtherCAT®, PROFIBUS DP®, DeviceNet™ and CC-Link. EX260 series has standard dual port connectivity to eliminate the need of switches or branch connector, reducing wiring and component cost. IP67 enclosure rating ensures protection against dust and washdown environment.

EX250 is a serial interface unit controlling up to 32 solenoids. This serial interface is compatible with series VQC1000/2000/4000 and SV1000/2000/3000 valves. Available protocols include DeviceNet™, CC-Link, AS-i, PROFIBUS-DP®, and CANopen. Input modules can be added or removed at the point of use.

IDF refrigerated air dryer series, in compliance with the Montreal Protocol Regulations, uses refrigerants R134a and R407C to prevent any damage to the earth's ozone layer. (Medium size series use R22). Series IDF can accommodate an inlet temperature of 40°C. Corrosion resistance is improved by using a stainless steel, plate type heat exchanger.

HRS compact recirculating chillers are designed to meet the widest range of single-point applications in both industrial and technology settings. Booster relay series IL100 is used when the piping between instrumentation and operational area is long, or when operational area has large capacity. Series IL100 can help accelerate actuation speed considerably.

KQ2 one-touch, metric and inch size fittings are available in a wide variety of sizes, body styles and thread types. The use of a special profile seal allows the KQ2 to be used for a wide range of pressures from a low vacuum up to a pressure of 1MPa. The KQ2 release collar releases both the chuck and collet to provide a low disconnection force for easy removal of the tubing.

SMC manufactures Fluoro-resin tubing for use in environments involving high temperatures and/or corrosive fluids. Pneumatic tubing is also available in a number of other materials both with and without reinforcement for use in standard applications. SMC fittings incorporate a positive tube seal while the fitting is under pressure which allows polyurethane tubing to be used.

Tubing is available in sizes of 1/8", 5/32", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2". Metric tubing sizes of 3.2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 16mm are available.
